On 25 February 2020, a personal exhibition of scenic design by Serhii Masloboishchykov opened.
The exhibition featured exhibits from more than ten of the artist's performances: ‘The Incomparable’ (P. Quilter, Ivan Franko National Theatre), “Dangerous Liaisons” (Choderlo de Laclos, Les Kurbas Centre, New Theatre in Pechersk, Kyiv), “The Tempest” (W. Shakespeare, Ivan Franko National Theatre), “The Tempest” (W. Shakespeare Dulai Sinhaz, Sentandre Sinhaz, Chokonai Sinhaz Debrecen, Beregovo Theatre), “The Avaricious” (J-B. Molière, Budapest, Ui Sinház), A Midsummer Night's Dream (W. Shakespeare, Budapest, Ui Sinház), A Midsummer Night's Dream (W. Shakespeare, Veszprém, Petőfi Sinház), Manon Lescaut (G. Puccini, Budapest International Theatre), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (G. Puccini, Budapest International Theatre). Serhii Masloboishchykov was born in 1957 in Kyiv. In 1981, he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute, Faculty of Graphic Arts. In 1989, he graduated from the Higher Courses for Screenwriters and Directors at the State Film Centre SPCP in Moscow.
He works as a film director, screenwriter, theatre director, television and advertising director, graphic artist, painter, theatre artist, theatre costume designer, and lecturer at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. Corresponding member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine. Member of the National Unions of Artists, Theatre and Cinematographers of Ukraine.
