Valdemara Jasulaityte is a fashion and costume designer specializing in experimental constructions, sculptural forms, and innovative 3D design. She graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where she studied Fashion Design, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sculpture. Her bachelor’s collection, “Creatures: Between Reality and Simulation,” gained wide recognition and was awarded both the Young Designer Prize and the Public’s Choice Award in 2022.
From 2022 to 2023, she presented her clothing collections at Fashion Infection – Lithuania’s most prominent fashion festival – showcasing her latest collection, “Antecedent Tomorrow,” which was awarded in the Fashion Injection competition. Her works have also been presented at Klaipėda Fashion Week.
Since 2022, she has been actively working as a 3D fashion designer, creating digital clothing and immersive environments with cutting-edge tools such as CLO 3D, Blender, and Daz 3D. She collaborated with DressX and presented virtual fashion animations with House of Aloysius at Amsterdam Fashion Week. Her designs have been featured on international digital fashion platforms.
In theatre, she has designed costumes for the State Vilnius Small Theatre production “L. is S.” (directed by Greta Štiomer), nominated for Best Artistic Solution at the international festival COM-MEDIA. She also created costumes for “The Reunification of the Two Koreas” at the National Kaunas Drama Theatre (directed by Artūras Areima), “Hour of the lynx” at the Old Theatre in Vilnius, and contributed to the performance “Compost,” which won the Open Space competition at Arts Printing House. She is currently working at the Klaipėda Drama Theatre on the new production “Richard III.”
In 2024, Valdemara Jasulaitytė founded her own clothing brand, VALLDEA, releasing its first collection through valldea.com. The new collection was showcased on the runway at the Young Fashion Event.
Her work is characterized by conceptual precision, sculptural depth, and experimental approaches that bridge physical and digital realities. She is deeply fascinated by innovation and new technologies, which she actively integrates into fashion and jewelry design, expanding the boundaries of contemporary fashion.
