The Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space (PQ)  – the largest international event in the field of scenography, performance design and performance spaces. PQ aims to create opportunities for the presentation of contemporary scenography and performance design, to showcase and support innovative work in this field, and to provide an inclusive space for dialogue between professionals, students and the general public.

The Prague Quadrennial was founded in 1967 in Prague and takes place every four years. At each edition, participants from an ever-increasing number of countries and regions—often more than 80—gather in Prague to present their work in the fields of design, performance and spatial design.

Between its exhibitions, PQ operates as an ongoing platform that fosters international exchange in the field of scenography through special projects, artist residencies, symposia and publications.

The 16th Prague Quadrennial will take place from 8 to 17 June 2027.

The non-governmental organisation ‘Scenography Gallery’ is organising the project and will present the Ukrainian Student Pavilion as part of one of the two main exhibitions of the Prague Quadrennial of Stage Design 2027.
